The AI CFO feature in FinanceIQ is powered by artificial intelligence. It is NOT a real Chief Financial Officer, NOT a licensed financial professional, and NOT a fiduciary. It is a software tool that generates automated responses based on statistical patterns. Its outputs may be wrong. Do not rely on it for financial decisions without consulting qualified human professionals.

1. No Professional Relationship

Use of the FinanceIQ platform and its AI features does not create any professional-client relationship, including but not limited to: accountant-client, financial advisor-client, attorney-client, or any fiduciary relationship. FinanceIQ is not your accountant, financial advisor, CFO, or fiduciary, regardless of the product feature names used in the interface.

The term “AI CFO” is a product feature name only. It does not indicate that the Service provides services equivalent to, or a substitute for, a licensed Chief Financial Officer or any other financial professional.

2. AI Limitations and Risks

You should be aware of the following material limitations of AI-generated content:

Hallucinations & Fabricated Data

AI models can generate plausible-sounding but entirely fabricated information, including fake numbers, incorrect calculations, and nonexistent trends. This happens even when the AI appears confident.

Calculation Errors

While FinanceIQ uses structured tool calls to retrieve real data, the AI's interpretation and additional calculations may contain errors. Always verify numbers against your source documents.

Missing Context

The AI operates only on data you have uploaded. It does not know about your contracts, legal obligations, tax situations, market conditions, regulatory requirements, or any other factors outside the platform.

No Personalized Advice

AI responses are generated from general patterns and your uploaded data. They do not take into account your complete financial picture, risk tolerance, investment objectives, or personal circumstances.

Stale or Outdated Insights

AI analysis is based on the data available at the time of your query. It does not update in real-time as your financial position changes.

3. Calculations, KPIs, and Financial Models

The Service computes various financial metrics, ratios, health scores, projections, and models. These computations are:

Automated and unaudited. No human professional has reviewed the calculations for your specific data.
Dependent on data quality. Incorrect uploads, miscategorized accounts, or missing data will produce incorrect results.
Based on simplified models. Equipment NPV/IRR calculations, debt amortization, and cash flow projections use standardized formulas that may not reflect your specific tax situation, depreciation schedules, or contractual terms.
Not GAAP-compliant statements. Financial reports generated by the Service are not prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or any other accounting standard unless explicitly stated.
Not suitable for regulatory filings. Do not use outputs from the Service for tax filings, SEC filings, bank loan applications, or any regulatory purpose without independent professional verification.

4. Your Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

Independently verify all information, analysis, and outputs from the Service before making any financial decisions
Consult with qualified licensed professionals (CPA, financial advisor, attorney) for financial, tax, and legal decisions
Not treat any AI output as a substitute for professional human advice
Take full responsibility for any actions taken based on information from the Service
Review uploaded data for accuracy before relying on computed results

FINANCEIQ MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING AI-GENERATED CONTENT, KPI CALCULATIONS, PROJECTIONS, EQUIPMENT ANALYSES, OR ANY OTHER OUTPUT.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND PROJECTIONS INVOLVE INHERENT UNCERTAINTY AND THAT PAST PERFORMANCE DOES NOT GUARANTEE FUTURE RESULTS. ANY FORWARD-LOOKING INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE IS HYPOTHETICAL AND SHOULD NOT BE INTERPRETED AS A PREDICTION OR PROMISE OF FUTURE PERFORMANCE.
